 My views on another presentation:

Today we all had our presentations, 5 teams and lots of hard work. I really liked how different teams were coming up with different solutions. Some of the teams were focusing on the importance of using technology in the intuitions unlike introducing our products as we did. I wasn't expecting that, because I though we all were coming up with our business plans regarding education technologies. The first team had great style in their presentation. It was very pleasant to listen their speeches. Second team used a style that I might not choose to use personally. The images were kind of big and I learned from a graphic designer that when images are to close to the sides it creates this overwhelming effect. I also congratulate third and fourth team who used data regarding  usage of technology in a way that capturing our interest. I loved listening all the teams.  


My views on our presentation

I want to make three points regarding our presentation today; speeches, style and timing. My teammates Judi, Zehra and I planned our distinct topics beforehand as mouth, head and heart. Therefore our speeches had different content. That caused one thing that I am still thinking how to solve, problem of length. For example, mouth had lots of thing to talk about, to cover many thing. But it was getting longer and longer to talk about all those things. Secondly, we could have more content in our slides maybe, because I feel like it was empty as in headings and icons for each page. I am waiting for the recoding of our classes to assess this situation better. Lastly, I liked our cream and blue theme in our slides. Blue is a strong color to earn trust and helpful when we are selling something innovative. Zehra shaped the style, so thanks to her. I know that we have a long way to walk, but it was still pretty good of us.

In a lecture I recently atteneded, I learned somehting new in terms of the concept of climate change. Even though I knew that countries such as US and China is quite high in terms of Carbon emission, I haven't thought about the big responsibilities upon the shoulders of those countries compared to other countries which are far below rates of the top 3 countries.  When think about how we can achieve climate justice, the first thing I need is the definition. Nigeria and Measles

 Nigeria is the most effected country from measles compared to the other countries. One of the major causes of child deaths is measles according to IDP (internally displaced persons) camps reports. The special condition of Nigeria is also linked with low routine immunization (RI) coverage, because Nigeria  has experienced these outbreaks repeatedly. Large measles outbreaks are affected Nigeria in 2019 and UNICEF and WHO declared that and 79 percent increase occurred in the 2022. Borno State is the most affected of all. As of August 20202, Global Measles Outbreaks page is updated and Nigeria has a record of 18,628 cases (WHO Data). Another problem is that US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that many countries already put off measles campaigns due to COVID-19 pandemic. Why we as woman feel less? What makes us feel less?
